On April 25th, 2026, Wake Up Entertainment brought the energy of street dance to the heart of Tribeca Mall with a special edition of the Wake Up Session, running from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Hosted as part of the mall’s Jazz and Dance Weekend theme, the event transformed the main space into a vibrant platform for expression, competition, and community.
This edition featured two battle categories:
- 1 vs 1 Hip-Hop
- 1 vs 1 Choose Your Style
With around 20 dancers registered, the session gathered a strong mix of emerging and experienced talents, each bringing their unique flavor to the floor. The atmosphere was dynamic, with dancers pushing their limits and engaging in high-level exchanges that reflected the true spirit of street dance culture.

Akaza stood out by placing in both categories, showcasing versatility and consistency throughout the battles.
Beyond the competition, the event highlighted the importance of creating accessible platforms for dancers to grow, connect, and perform in public spaces. The collaboration with Tribeca Mall allowed us to reach a broader audience and share the energy of urban dance with the public in a fresh and engaging setting.

Dance & Jazz Weekend au Tribeca Mall
Le 25 avril 2026, Wake Up Entertainment a fait vibrer le Tribeca Mall avec une édition spéciale du Wake Up Session, de midi à 16h, dans le cadre du week-end Jazz & Dance. Une ambiance électrique, du son, des échanges… tout était réuni pour une vraie célébration de la street dance.
Deux catégories étaient au programme :
- 1 vs 1 Hip-Hop
- 1 vs 1 Choose Your Style
Avec une vingtaine de participants, les danseurs ont répondu présent avec énergie et créativité. Chaque battle était intense, avec du style, de la personnalité et surtout beaucoup de vibes. Le public a pu découvrir différents univers, du Hip-Hop pur aux styles les plus variés.

Mention spéciale à Akaza, qui s’est démarqué en montant sur le podium dans les deux catégories — une vraie performance !
Au-delà de la compétition, cette session a montré à quel point il est important de créer des espaces où les jeunes peuvent s’exprimer, se challenger et partager leur passion. Amener la street dance dans un lieu comme Tribeca Mall, c’est aussi rapprocher la culture du public et inspirer la nouvelle génération.
