About Wake Up Entertainment – Waking up urban culture

Wake Up Entertainment is a music, video & event production company specialized in street dance events organization .It has been founded in 2010 with the launch of ‘Wake Up Sessions’. 

Our mission is to promote urban culture through events and music videos to give youths a valorizing, healthy and fun activity to do.

 With over 100  street dance competitions organized up to now in commercial centers and other popular venues across Mauritius, Rodrigues, Reunion Island and online, we have successfully initiated a national interest in street dancing amongst youths.

Our professionalism and passion has gave us the opportunity, over the years, to collaborate with prestigious private and public institutions to produce their events:

1. Orange Street Dance in 2011 for the production of Six events in Mauritius & Rodrigues.
2. Malta Guinness Street Dance in 2016, 2017 & 2018, over 20 events around Mauritius.
3. Ministry of Youth & Sports – 9 events from October – December 2018.
4. US Embassy of Mauritius – Produce two events in 2012
5. Battle de l’Ouest – Indian Ocean Breakdance Championship to which we are affiliated and since 2012, each year we organize their local qualifiers to send best break-dancers to compete in the Indian Ocean final at Reunion Island.
