Festival Bouzé – The Biggest Urban Dance Festival in the Indian Ocean

Festival Bouzé is an international urban dance festival held annually in Mauritius, bringing together the best dancers, judges, choreographers, and dance enthusiasts from across the Indian Ocean and Africa. More than just a competition, the festival promotes cultural exchange, youth empowerment, artistic excellence, and the professionalization of urban dance.

The highlight of the festival is the Indian Ocean Championship, a prestigious 1 vs 1 battle featuring the region’s top talents in Breaking, Hip-Hop Freestyle, and Afro Styles. Alongside the championship, Festival Bouzé offers masterclasses, conferences, showcases, community activities, and networking opportunities that connect dancers from more than 15 countries.

Organized by Wake Up Entertainment Ltd, Festival Bouzé has become a leading platform for developing urban dance culture while positioning Mauritius as a cultural hub for the Indian Ocean region.
