Wake Up Session were invited to do a competition on the 15th of April 2023 at Grand Baie La Croisette during the Urban Mood, Urban Festival.
We proposed a 1 vs 1 Hip-Hop Freestyle battle, where Break dancers and Hip-Hop stylers were all invited to compete in one contest, on a mix of Breakbeats, Funk and Hip-Hop music.
22 participants registered for that 1 and a half hour of non-stop competition of which Jo Wayne, a young talented Hip-Hop dancer from Konkrete dawgz got the Gold!
