The Biggest Urban Dance Festival in the Indian Ocean

Festival Bouzé returns for its 4th edition from 13 to 16 August 2026 in Mauritius, bringing together the best dancers, judges, coaches, and cultural leaders from across the Indian Ocean and Africa.

Wake Up Session, in collaboration with Ministry of Youth and Sports presents Festival Bouzé 2026 and is proudly presented with the support of Malta Guinness & Les Snack Miaow Miaow as main sponsors. Institut Français de Maurice our silver sponsor, alongside several public and regional partners continues to support the development of urban dance culture in the Indian Ocean.

Festival Bouzé is more than a dance competition. It is a platform for cultural exchange, artistic development, youth empowerment, and international collaboration through urban dance.

10 countries and territories will be represented during this international gathering, making Festival Bouzé one of the largest urban dance events in the region.

Indian Ocean Championship Finals

Witness the best dancers from the Indian Ocean and Africa battle for the championship title in two categories:

  • 1 vs 1 Breaking
  • 1 vs 1 Choose Your style

International judges, world-class dancers, live DJs, special showcases, and an electric atmosphere await you.

Thursday 13 August – Free for public

Friday 14 August – Buy one ticket of the final and get access to both workshops free!

  • 📍 Last Chance qualifiers at Caudan Waterfront as from 1pm.

Saturday 15 August

  • Last Chance Battle at Tribeca Mall as from 1pm.

Buying one ticket for the final ,gives you access to the Dance Masterclasses by experts. All other events in the festival are free for participation.
