Mauritius Qualification – Choose Your Style

On Saturday 11th April 2026, an official qualification round for the Indian Ocean Championship took place at Cœur de Ville Tamarin sponsored by Malta Guinness.

The event ran from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and brought together 16 registered dancers competing in the Choose Your Style category. Each participant aimed to secure their spot to represent Mauritius at the Indian Ocean Championship Finals.

The battles were competitive throughout the afternoon, with dancers showcasing versatility, control, and strategy across different styles.

The final match saw Zillien face Lion King in a decisive battle. After a strong performance in the final, Zillien took the win.

🏆 Zillien is the official winner of the Mauritius Qualification (Choose Your Style category) and will represent Mauritius at the Indian Ocean Championship Finals, a key event of Festival Bouzé bringing together top dancers from across the region.

Le samedi 11 avril 2026, une qualification officielle pour l’Indian Ocean Championship s’est tenue à Cœur de Ville Tamarin, soutenu par Malta Guinness.

L’événement s’est déroulé de 14h00 à 17h00 avec 16 danseurs inscrits dans la catégorie Choose Your Style, tous en compétition pour représenter Maurice lors de la finale.

Les battles ont été disputés tout au long de l’après-midi, avec un bon niveau technique et une grande diversité de styles.

La finale a opposé Zillien à Lion King. À l’issue d’un dernier round maîtrisé, Zillien s’impose.

🏆 Zillien remporte la qualification mauricienne (catégorie Choose Your Style) et représentera Maurice lors de la finale de l’Indian Ocean Championship, événement majeur du Festival Bouzé réunissant les meilleurs danseurs de la région.
